Rotary Monday Memo

Dear Friends, Here's a few reminders for the week:

#1 - In this week's mail, all Club Presidents received a letter regarding both the Changemaker Award and the Presidential Citation. These awards are from Rotary International. You have plenty of time to continue meeting the necessary criteria. Even if you personally are not motivated to complete this paperwork, your members will appreciate the opportunity to receive these prestigious club awards. I encourage all of you to read the criteria, complete the application if your club qualifies, and send back to me by the deadline. These awards will be presented at District Conference.

#2 - Special thanks to the Rotary Club of Ligonier and Indiana Rotarian Rhonda Luckey for their recent contributions to the Dominican Republic transportation fund. We appreciate your help!

#3 - The Rotary Club of Richland Township is holding a "Polio Awareness Day/Mini NID" in the Galleria Mall in Johnstown. The date is March 17th. Stop by and show your Rotary spirit!

#4 - Don and I enjoyed our Rotary travels this past week. It was nice to re-visit with Monongahela and Ligonier, and we attended a symphony orchestra event with the Westmoreland Club, promoting membership. We heard a lot of great things that are happening in these clubs. Have an event you'd like us to attend? Or a special meeting? If our schedule is open, we'll be there!

#5 - DGE Maria Fetock's Pre-PETS continue this week for President-Elects. Tuesday -7th- is at our home in North Huntingdon, 7:00pm, and Wednesday -8th- is at Bill Blaney's home, Uniontown, 7:00pm. All welcome! For more info, email Maria at maria.rotary7330@gmail.com
