Interact is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages 14 to 18. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting.
Club membership varies greatly. Clubs can be single gender or mixed, large or small. They can draw from the student body of a single school or from two or more schools in the same community.
Each year, Interact clubs complete at least two community service projects, one of which furthers international understanding and goodwill. Through these efforts, Interactors develop a network of friendships with local and overseas clubs and learn the importance of
As one of the most significant and fastest-growing programs of Rotary service, with more than 10,700 clubs in 109 countries and geographical areas, Interact has become a worldwide phenomenon. Almost 200,000 young people are involved in Interact.

Central Westmoreland Career and Technology Center Interact Club
The New Stanton Rotary Club sponsors the Central Westmoreland Career & Technology Center Interact Club. The students learn about community service and participate in activities along with Rotarians and members of the community. The club sponsors and participates in a wide variety of community projects that the members choose. They also participate in an international project each year.
Central Westmoreland Career & Technology Center Interact Club is sponsored by the Youngwood/New Stanton Rotary. It is designed as a service club for students ages 14 - 18.
The Central Westmoreland CTC Interact Club provides students with the opportunity to participate in fun, meaningful activities while developing leadership skills. The Interact Club motto is "Service above Self".

The Interact Club also provided its own projects with the community such as Food Bank Donations, Youngwood Park and Pool , Hempfield Park, Let's make a Wish, Toy Projects, Canned food projects and other community projects that differ each year but involve giving time and help to our Youngwood new Stanton community.
